Everything you need to know about donating, volunteering, and tree plantation with ShajarDost.
How can I donate trees in Pakistan?
You can donate trees through ShajarDost by visiting our donation page. Choose how many trees you want to plant — tree rates start from Rs. 500 per plant (rate depends on plant size and care duration) and planting is done by our volunteers across Pakistan. Donors receive photos and location details of their planted trees.
How many trees has ShajarDost planted so far?
ShajarDost has planted over 1.2 million trees across Pakistan since inception. Our goal is to plant 10 million trees by 2030 to combat deforestation and climate change in Pakistan.
Where does ShajarDost plant trees?
We plant trees across Pakistan — including Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, Islamabad, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Our plantation sites include schools, parks, roadsides, barren lands, and community spaces in collaboration with local governments and communities.
Can I volunteer for tree plantation drives?
Yes! ShajarDost welcomes volunteers for plantation drives, awareness campaigns, and tree care activities. Visit our contact page or call us at 0333-3197977 or chat on DeraTalk to join our volunteer network. We organize monthly plantation events across Pakistan.
What is Miyawaki forest method?
Miyawaki is a Japanese afforestation technique that grows dense, native forests 10x faster than traditional methods. ShajarDost uses Miyawaki method to create mini-forests in urban areas, schools, and corporate campuses for maximum environmental impact.
Can companies sponsor tree plantation as CSR?
Yes, ShajarDost offers corporate CSR partnerships for tree plantation. Companies can sponsor 100, 1000, or 10,000+ trees. We provide impact reports, certificates, photos, and location details for CSR documentation. Contact us for custom CSR packages.
How do you ensure trees survive after plantation?
Each planted tree is monitored for 2 years. We use tree guards, regular watering schedules, and local caretakers (often school students or community members). Survival rate is 70-80%, and we replant any trees that don't survive.
Do you provide a receipt for my donation?
