About ShajarDost
A movement dedicated to making Pakistan greener, one tree at a time.
Our Story
ShajarDost began as a vision to make Pakistan greener, one tree at a time. We are proud contributors to the Ten Billion Trees Project, a national initiative to combat climate change and deforestation.
On 14th August 2018, we set a national record by planting 630,000 trees in a single day across Punjab. Since then, we've planted over 1.2 million trees through our community of volunteers, students, and donors.
Our programs — Mission 50, Green Scouts, Mini Nursery, and Miyawaki Forest — give every Pakistani a way to contribute to a greener future, regardless of whether they have land, money, or just time to give.
What Drives Us
Environmental Impact
Every tree planted is a step towards combating climate change and making Pakistan greener.
Transparency
100% transparent. GPS coordinates, photos, and certificates for every donation.
Community
We engage schools, corporations, and individuals to create lasting change.
Care
We don't just plant — we maintain. Every tree gets 1-3 years of care to ensure survival.
